We are definitely in a season of change.  Most of our team are north and so their changes will be much more significant.  Signs of change will be evident in the colors of the leaves, the crisp air in the mornings and the evenings.  Even flurries of snow in some places.  Down south, everything is still green (except the trees damaged by hurricane winds), it’s still hot, but the days have a gentle breeze, and the mornings you can find frost on the car.  As we prepare for the upcoming winter, we start to think pumpkins, spiced coffee and crops.  This month theme choice by Katherine of Cobert Photography is Harvest and perfect for this time of year.

Katherine chose the theme Harvest for this reason:

Living in the Midwest, in the middle of farm country, November is when everyone is finishing up harvesting their crops. Those crops are the livelihood of so many people. Then later in the month, families gather together to celebrate and be thankful for that very harvest they were blessed with. So it seems fitting to choose harvest as this month’s theme.

You may have notice that we only have 7 blog contributions this month.  Due to various reason Claire of Wilhelmina Photography has felt a need to step back and refocus on things at home.  We are very sorry to loose Claire as part of our team. We have enjoyed getting to know more about Claire and seeing how much she has grown as an artist during her journey with us.  We are thankful for the time she gave us and we wish Claire well in the future.

Replacing Claire will be Lynne Grant Photography and we look forward to getting to know Lynne and her family and the beautiful countryside that she lives in much better .

For the rest of the month of November and up until December 5th the theme is Harvest

We look forward to seeing your images on our Facebook page and our Instagram Page.  Don’t forget to tag the Instagram posts with #sharesix_harvest.  Each month we feature one artist on our Facebook and Webpage banner.  We will also do an interview with the featured artist, so share your images to be a part of this opportunity.

Look out for the new theme on December 6.
