And just like that, it is December. I am not sure if this year has gone fast or slow. In many ways it feels like time has flown. I know that for all of us it has been a real struggle to get out and take some photographs for the themes. In some countries our team has been under strict lock down. It makes it much harder when we have a theme to blog. Getting ourselves motivated and structured to pick up the camera has been a challenge. I know that if I was not blogging, I probably would not have picked it up at all. Work responsibilities have had to come first for many of us as well.

I am not sure how you are doing, but I hope that we at least encourage you to get out and take your camera for a walk. Staying safe and well is all our priorities and we wish that for you as well.

December is the festive time of the year. The Christmas trees are going up in some homes, the lights are on, the world turns glittery and Ceri Herd Photography has challenged us to capture the many opportunities to do some {Story Telling}. We hope, that despite the challenges that face us, that you and your family have the opportunity to embrace each other and enjoy the beauty of the season.

As we wind down this year, we take the opportunity to thank you for joining us for yet another year of challenges, fun and the opportunity to learn from each other. Can you believe it, we have been doing this for 5 years and I am so grateful to all the blog team for hanging in there each month and being a part of this awesome group. I am also grateful that you join us by tagging us for each theme.

We wish you a peaceful, healthy, safe December. While our celebrations may be smaller than normal, embrace those moments with your family, for this too shall pass, and life will once again be crazy hectic.

We look forward to seeing your images on our Facebook page and our Instagram Page.  Don’t forget to tag the Instagram posts with #sharesix_storytelling.  Each month we feature one artist on our Facebook and Webpage banner.  We will also do an interview with the featured artist, so share your images to be a part of this opportunity.

Look out for the new theme on January 6, 2020
