When we started out this year, little did we know what lay ahead of us. 2020 is definitely a year to remember. For many it has been a challenging year. For photographers in general the year has been hard. For us as a group that has themes to photograph the challenges have been real. We have tried to keep the themes to simple so that if we can’t get out at least we can photograph within our homes.

Some of us have been on strict lock down, for periods of time, others of us not so much. Some of us will be going back into strict lock downs. Some of our blog group are teachers and it has been hard for them to juggle all of the items on their lists. While the vaccine is promising, the logistics are challenging. 2021 will probably still be a year of difficult moments.

In all of this we still want to be able to continue to blog together and to share and highlight artist work. Each and every one of us knows that the beauty found through our camera gives us great joy. We hope it brings that kind of joy to you as well.

Here are some thoughts and wishes from our blog group.

“It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.” ~ Aristotle. This quote sums this year up quite aptly I think, wishing you all love, light and blessings x

“Christmas is a season not only for rejoicing but also for reflecting” ~ Winston Churchill

As you go into this season of limited gathering we would encourage you to enjoy those whom are gathered around your table.

Take time to show love

Take time to rejoice

Take time to be still and listen

Take time to reflect

Whatever you are celebrating this season, we wish you a blessed time with those you love. Stay well and stay safe. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
