As we reflect on this time of year, and in particular Thanksgiving, we want to give thanks to all you amazing artists who have liked and shared on our Share Six page. When approached to take over the running of this group, we had no idea where it would go. We are grateful that you have come alongside us and shared this journey. We believe we have all grown as a result of this journey. We have seen amazing images in our feed and we are grateful for all the talent that is gracing our page.
We are thankful for you!
My schedule is absolutely bursting at the seams with things to be thankful for, which is why I didn’t have time to take a more creative shot for my Thanksgiving image. I am thankful for every person and thing in my life that God has blessed me with.
“I am thankful for my little family, including my husband who loves nothing more than truly playing with our kids, and our kids’ love for one another. Unfortunately, we are always “orphans” at Thanksgiving, but we’ve worked to build our own traditions to look forward to each year.”
“For the joy and laughter, and for the challenging lessons; for the hope and love, and for the difficult blessings, I am thankful.” -Mary Davis
I am thankful for each and every day, health, love and family. I cannot imagine life without my littles, they are my everything! They are the reason I became interested in photography – to capture all those childhood moments as they grow. I am also very thankful for the path I have taken in photography as a way to freeze that moment in time, have a voice, and create
I am thankful for life, good health, my faith, this group, and the opportunity to be creative. This latter part of the year has been somewhat challenging for me post surgery and so I am especially thankful to my husband who has been a solid rock throughout this whole experience, to my son who has supported and fetched and carried for me and lent me his movies, and to my daughter in law who has lent me her ice machine. I am also grateful and excited that my daughter will be coming home at Christmas after living oversees for more than 15 months. The time will be short sadly but it will be a blessing to this mothers heart.
Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire,
if you did what would there be to look forward to.
Be thankful when you don’t know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn
Be thankful for difficult times,
during that time you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you the opportunity for improvement.
Be thankful for your mistakes,
they will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you are tired and weary,
because it means you have made a difference.
It’s easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your Blessings
